The Special mini-concert of Kidera Masaki will be held at the grand hall of the Fukuoka City Museum on December 15th from 2pm.

Mr. Kidera is a Shinobue bamboo flute player. The main curator of the exhibition “Ukiyoe that challenges Kuniyoshi Yoshitoshi... and more!” is a huge fan of his music, and she requested us to organize this concert during the exhibition period. The elegant sound of shinobue will surely give you the experience of time travel to the period when the Kuniyoshi and his apprentices were active.

Visiting the museum on this occasion will give you time to indulge yourself in the Japanese culture! Please enjoy the concert and also the exhibition“Ukiyoe that challenges Kuniyoshi yoshitoshi and more”, which introduces the refined ukiyoe wood prints created by ”Yoshi Family”
