The entrance for permanent exhibition is free for all, on Sunday, November 13rd, the day of the Fukuoka Marathon!

Hi! Long time no see! I hope you still remember us… We are Nakopin and Nakopon, who served as main characters of the special exhibition “Country of Na Exhibition” in 2015. The Fukuoka Marathon is fast approaching! We are in training for the special event!

For 5.2km course runners: The Fukuoka City Museum will be your goal! There will be some food stalls opening in front of the museum, and you can buy foods and drinks there! This is a picture of the event last year. What a lot of people! The scenery looks so beautiful with autumn leaves♪

This is a picture taken at the award ceremony of the wheel chair marathon. Sazae san and Masuo san, characters from a famous Japanese cartoon, were there to celebrate! They will be coming this year too♪ They are ready for taking photos with you!

What’s more!  The entrance for permanent exhibition is free for all, on Sunday, November 13rd, the day of the Fukuoka Marathon!

Please come to the Fukuoka City Museum to cheer the runners up and to see our exhibitions for free! Please feel free to use our multipurpose toilet and nursing room too.

 There is one last important notification. Please be reminded that the street running in front of the Fukuoka City Museum will be closed to traffic on Sunday 13^th November, from 8:05am to 9:39am.  After 9:39am, the traffic will be resumed.
