The rainy season is finally over! Now, let's enjoy summer learning, exploring and simply having fun at the museum. Yes, you can even spend cool summer nights at the museum!
The Fukuoka City Museum is now open until 8:00pm on these days:
・Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until August 26th (Sun.)
・August 13th, 14th and 15th
What’s more, you can enjoy our permanent and feature exhibition for
FREE after 17:30.

Enjoy YOKAI Nights starting from 5pm!
Children who dress up as ghosts or supernatural beings and enter the Yurei and Yokai exhibition will get Yokai tin badges! (Limited to the first 100 children)

Yurina Hamano live in concert!
Yurina Hamano's unique music featuring both folk and pop songs will surely add a delightful treat to the Yokai Nights!

Design and bring home your own Yokai in coloring sheets that we have prepared for you. Everyone is invited to give their artistic hand a try in making their own Yokai Night souvenir!

We have prepared a special menu during the Twilight Museum Period! This comes with a very rare French sparkling wine only made available for this event.
